What is Recycled Glass?

It is clear glass filler supplied by the Travina Company. It is used to manufacture an engineered stone made entirely of recycled glass and a bio-resin.

Where does the glass come from?

From you and other environmentally conscious people. Our materials are composed entirely of glass that has been collected through community recycling bins. They are cleaned, crushed and dyed before being used in the Travina manufacturing process.

Why should I use products made with recycled glass?

Recycled Glass is used to make value-added, beautiful products. It keeps glass out of our landfills. Our products are manufactured locally. They are molded instead of fabricated from large sheets to eliminate waste.

How durable are Travina’s Recycled Glass products?

Recycled Glass products are resistant to heat, scratches and stains.

Can my recycled glass products be fixed if damaged?

Yes, Travina’s manufacturing process is a unique system that creates a renewable product.

What is the best way to clean my recycled glass surfaces?

Recycled Glass products are available in several colors and designs. See your local dealer for color and design selections.

How do product samples compare to finished products?

Every product made is unique, with random veining, particle size and color. Samples should only be used to understand the characteristics of any Travina product.

Can I use Recycled Glass in my kitchen?

All Travina products including Recycled Glass are designed to withstand normal kitchen environments.

Can I use it in bathrooms?

Yes, Recycled Glass can be used behind gel-coat just like any cultured marble or granite fillers.

Can the products be used outdoors?

Yes. We currently have all types of Travina products being used in several outdoor applications.
